CCTG Breast Disease Site Co-Chair Dr. Koch is a Clinician Investigator in the Radiation Medicine Program and the Leader of the Breast Cancer Program at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network. She is also an Associate Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto. She obtained her PhD in Molecular and Medical Genetics at the University of Toronto, and her post-doctoral studies focused on the DNA damage response and cellular signalling. Dr. Koch has served for over a decade as Co-Director of an international translational and transdisciplinary radiation medicine research training program. She has led or participated in numerous breast cancer clinical trials, and has a strong clinical research focus in breast cancer radiation treatment optimization and reirradiation. Dr. Koch recently was appointed co-Chair of the CCTG Breast Disease Site Committee.“It is an honour to serve as Co-Chair of the CCTG Breast Disease Committee.
