7 Days in May Riders Visit Canadian Cancer Trials Group Central Office On Monday, May 26, 2015, the Canadian Cancer Trials Group once again welcomed the 7 Days in May Riders to its Central Office at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. The Riders were on Day 3 of their 7-day bicycle ride around Lake Ontario as part of their mission to raise money in support of pancreatic cancer research. Dr. Janet Dancey, Director of the Canadian Cancer Trials Group, Dr. Jim Biagi, Dr. Chris O'Callaghan and others, including representatives from the Canadian Cancer Society, were on hand to greet them as they rode in on a wet Monday morning. We look forward every year to visiting with the Riders as they are a powerful reminder of the Canadian Cancer Trials Group's mission -- to assess the effectiveness of interventions to prevent the development of cancer or improve the the care of those patients who do develop cancer. Since the partnership began 3 years ago, the 7 Days in May Foundation has donated over $70,000 to the Canadian Cancer Society which goes directly to the Canadian Cancer Trials Group in support the PA.6 trial. This year, the Riders are card card-body bg-light well on their way to reaching and even exceeding their $50,000 goal! We are so grateful for the commitment and support of the 7 Days in May Foundation.
