New Investigator Clinical Trials Course Faculty As Manager, Network Grants and Strategy at the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG)’s Operations and Statistical Centre at Queen’s University, Heather leads the overall planning and project management of CCTG’s program and project grants. She guides and contributes to the development, review and editing of grant documents, including research proposals and budgets, ensuring compliance with agency guidelines, and provides operational direction and expert advice to the project team. Heather has been a member of CCTG’s operations team since she joined the Group in 2002 and has participated in and led the submission of more than 140 program and project grants to the Canadian Cancer Society, US National Institutes of Health, Canada Foundation for Innovation, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and others that have been awarded nearly $250M in funding.
