Dr. Warren Mason, MD

CCTG Brain Disease Site Committee Chair

Dr. Mason is the Medical Director of The Gerry & Nancy Pencer Brain Tumor Centre, and the holder of the Kirchmann Family Chair in Neuro-Oncology Research.  He graduated in medicine from the University of Toronto, and completed residencies in internal medicine and neurology at the University of Toronto and McGill University.

He is Chair of the CCTG Brain Disease Site Committee with the mandate to actively develop an investigational new drug program for glioma. The focus of Dr. Mason's current research is the development of medical therapies for primary brain tumors.

Research Interests:

  • Medical treatment of brain tumours, particularly glioma
  • Emphasis on novel drug evaluation for glioblastoma​
