As I am sure you are aware, Relay for Life is the Canadian Cancer Society's (CCS) largest funding raising event. If you are interested in donating, this year Canadian Cancer Trials Group Central Office has formed a team, The Trialblazers, to participate in the Relay for Life Event in Kingston on June 4, 2016. Canadian Cancer Trials Group has conducted almost 500 trials over its 35 years. Among the achievements have been trials that have identified new treatments and improved outcomes for patients with breast, bowel, prostate, lung, brain cancers, leukemia and lymphoma. Throughout the years, it is been supported by a national program grant from CCS, the largest single grant within the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute's portfolio. Our team hopes to raise money this year for CCS to acknowledge their work and support of Canadian Cancer Trials Group. If you would consider a donation, it would be much appreciated.
