Dr Rebecca Gladdy MD, PhD, FRCSC, FACS

CCTG Sarcoma Committee Co-Chair

Dr. Gladdy is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Surgery, Department of Surgery and a Full Member at the Institute of Medical Science, Cross-appointed Associate Professor, Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, at The University of Toronto. Her clinical practice in the surgical management of soft tissue sarcomas at Sinai Health System, and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Dr. Gladdy is a Clinician-Scientist at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, Sinai Health System, where she has a well-established research program. She is the Chair of the Translational Science Committee of the TransAtlantic Australasian Retroperitoneal Sarcoma Working Group (TARPSWG), a global community of experts engaged in clinical trials and improving outcomes for sarcoma patients. Dr. Gladdy also established the Toronto International Sarcoma Symposium, a biannual meeting to create educational updates and networking events for sarcoma clinicians from across Canada and globally.
