The IND Program has launched the Early Clinical Trials Educational Series

The CCTG IND Program has launched the Early Clinical Trials Educational Series, a virtual education workshop series that offers topics of relevance and interest to early drug trial investigation. The series curriculum covers early clinical trial design and conduct, planning correlative analyses, data interpretation and publication of results, as well as operational considerations and policy and regulatory framework.

The workshops are delivered by leading Canadian and International experts. The first successful session of this series, Patient Perspectives/Engagement & Equity, was held January 30, 2026 and the upcoming workshops are: 

1. Design and Execution of Phase I Trials
2. Phase II Oncology Studies: Do they still Exist?
3. Preclinical Data Interpretation and Guidelines

The Early Clinical Trials Educational Series is open to oncology fellows, residents, early career investigators, and other trainees at CCTG member institutions.
