Dr. Moira Rushton Ottawa Hospital Research Institute Wednesday, May 07, 2025 Congratulations to Dr. Moira Rushton, a Medical Oncologist from the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute who has been awarded the Elizabeth Eisenhauer Early Drug Development Young Investigator Award for her work on CCTG IND trials and committees.“I am truly honored to have been selected as the recipient of this year’s Elizabeth Eisenhauer early drug development young investigator award. My time at CCTG was an invaluable formative experience and continues to meaningfully impact my clinical practice and academic career,” says Dr Rushton.She is a member of the IND Executive Committee and the IND241 and IND243 trial committees. She has been instrumental in the conduct of several IND CCTG clinical trials at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. Moira was previously a CCTG Senior Investigator serving on Committee on Economic Analysis and Breast Executive Committee. She specializes in breast and upper GI cancers with special interest in quality improvement and economic impacts of population-based breast cancer screening and cardiology.
