CCTG Spring meeting update - coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dear CCTG Network,

CCTG has continued to monitor the developments pertaining to the coronavirus (COVID-19).  After careful consideration and evaluation of available information at this time, and out of an abundance of caution for the entire network, the CCTG Annual Spring Meeting for 2020 is cancelled.

We recognize the annual meeting is critical to the continuation of the development and execution of the CCTG scientific agenda and activities. We aim to enhance communication capacity to meet the needs of scientific leadership to oversee and execute their scientific portfolio and the CCTG network members to participate to the fullest extent possible.

We are exploring possibilities for a meeting in late fall and will provide an update as needed. However, we anticipate that over the coming months, opportunities for in person meetings will be limited. To address this, we are enhancing our capacity for communications and virtual meetings to support the scientific committees’ needs developing and executing the CCTG committees’ scientific priorities and activities. We will provide regular communications on committee and trial activities.

We appreciate this is a difficult time for all who are dealing with COVID-19 and its impact on their communities, hospitals, patients, and families.  CCTG remains committed to the safety of all involved and will continue to provide you with any support you may require during this time.  If you have any other questions please do not hesitate contact us by email at  COVID19infoCCTG@ctg.queensu.ca or by phone 613.533.6430

Thank you and we look forward to connecting with you virtually during the time ahead!

Best Regards,
Janet
