Canadian Cancer Society’s exclusive Telephone Town Hall

You are invited to join the Canadian Cancer Society’s exclusive Telephone Town Hall, where a panel of experts will bring the world of clinical trials to life and explain how clinical trials are improving cancer prevention, detection and treatment.

The purpose of this event is to show donors how their support is making a difference in the fight against cancer. We are pleased to extend this invitation to CTG centre investigators, staff and the wider research community and hope you will join us for this special event.

If you subscribe online, you will receive a phone call between 7:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. on the evening of the Telephone Town Hall.

Dr Sian Bevan

Dr Sian Bevan is the Director of the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute (CCSRI). She supports the development of programs, policies, and strategic initiatives for cancer research to fulfill the priorities of the Society.

Dr Geoffrey Liu

Dr Geoffrey Liu is a Senior Scientist at the Ontario Cancer Institute, Princess Margaret Hospital. He currently has Canadian Cancer Society funding to study personalized treatment for lung cancer and is also the lead investigator of a number of completed and ongoing clinical trials.

Dr Chris O'Callaghan

Dr Chris O'Callaghan is a Senior Investigator at the Canadian Cancer Trials Group and a Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Queen’s University.

Steve Theobald

Our host, Steve Theobald, is the Director of Communications for the Canadian Cancer Society's Ontario Division.
