The purpose of this event is to show donors how their support is making a difference in the fight against cancer. The discussion panel will include: Dr Sian Bevan Dr Sian Bevan is the Director of the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute (CCSRI). She supports the development of programs, policies, and strategic initiatives for cancer research to fulfill the priorities of the Society. Dr Geoffrey Liu Dr Geoffrey Liu is a Senior Scientist at the Ontario Cancer Institute, Princess Margaret Hospital. He currently has Canadian Cancer Society funding to study personalized treatment for lung cancer and is also the lead investigator of a number of completed and ongoing clinical trials. Dr Chris O'Callaghan Dr Chris O'Callaghan is a Senior Investigator at the Canadian Cancer Trials Group and a Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Queen’s University.
