Implementation of the Delegation of Tasks Log

Implementation of the Delegation of Tasks Log (DTL) in RIPPLE

The Delegation of Tasks Log (DTL) has now been implemented by the Clinical Trials Evaluation Program (CTEP) for selected trials. The first National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) trial where CCTG will be using the DTL is the BLC.4 trial. An active DTL has been added as a requirement for CCTG sites following approval of the BLC.4 Revision #3. Other studies that will be using the DTL initially include MAC.24 and REC.4.

Canadian sites will complete the DTL directly in the CCTG Roster Interface Program and Participants List Environment (RIPPLE) and are required to complete both components of the trial participants list in RIPPLE (the CCTG and the NCI US DTL).  It is anticipated that the integration of the DTL into RIPPLE will be completed around the middle of July and notification that the DTL is ready to be utilized for the BLC.4 study will be circulated to affected sites at that time.

In order to be added to the DTL, all individuals must be registered with CTEP-IAM and maintain an active registration annually.  In addition, individuals who are registration type Investigator (IVR), Non-Physician Investigator (NPIVR) and Associate Plus (AP) must register and maintain an active status in the Registration and Credentialing Repository (RCR) which was released in July 2017.

Further information on the DTL, training sessions and educational materials available will be coming soon. If you have any questions please contact ripple@ctg.queensu.ca.
