Wednesday, February 05, 2020 Clinical Research Associate (CRA) Volunteers Needed for Endpoint & Disease Site Executive Committees! The Canadian Cancer Trials Group is actively seeking CRA representatives from Canadian Member sites to sit on the Genitourinary Disease Site Committee Executives as well as Supportive Care Committee. Disease site committees discuss proposals for new studies and considers their scientific merit and feasibility. Committees are composed of representatives from centres participating in CCTG trials. Each committee has a chair and an executive; the role of the executive is to review studies proposed by their respective site committees, and on the basis of that review, to recommend trials for consideration to the Clinical Trials Committee (CTC). The CRA DSC or Endpoint Committee Executive member is expected to represent the perspective of the CRA community. If you are a CRA working on CCTG trials in the above areas, we encourage you to consider volunteering. The CRA member is funded to attend the Annual Spring Meeting of Participants, and participates in teleconferences as required. Please ensure you have the support of your member institution prior to submitting your expression of interest.
