Novel Approaches to the Treatment of Urothelial Carcinoma

Speaker: Dr. Jonathan Rosenberg

Jonathan Rosenberg, MD is an Associate Attending Physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Section Head for Non?Prostate Genitourinary Cancers of the Genitourinary Oncology Service. He holds the Enno W. Ercklentz Endowed Chair in Genitourinary Medical Oncology.

After earning his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Rosenberg completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital?Cornell in New York, New York. In addition, he completed his fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco, California. He had previously served on the faculty at UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Dana?Farber Cancer Institute.

Dr. Rosenberg's research focuses on testing novel therapeutic approaches and correlating novel genetic biomarkers with clinical outcomes in bladder cancer. He has led multiple clinical trials testing new treatments for bladder cancer. Dr. Rosenberg is the Vice Chair and Bladder Cancer Working Group leader of the Genitourinary Committee for the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology and is a member of the NCI Bladder Cancer Task Force.
